Amanda Cole, MA, MLP

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Finding a safe space to express feelings and emotions without judgment is my top priority within therapy. I believe that negative thinking patterns play a big role in the client’s present struggles, and recognizing negative thinking patterns, creating insight, and building a strong therapeutic relationship with the client is key to healing.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ferris State University in 2017. After graduating, I pursued a job as a psychometrist, giving psychological tests to a variety of age groups. In 2019, I went back to school at Western Michigan University to obtain my master’s degree in counseling psychology. During schooling, I worked as an applied behavior analysis technician working with kids with autism spectrum disorder. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and college students facing a wide variety of mental health issues.

I am a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the State of Michigan. As such, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
