To me, healing in therapy begins through connection, understanding, and empowerment. I work with both adolescents and adults, supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I take a humanistic and trauma-informed approach, which means I believe in meeting each person with empathy, authenticity, and respect for their unique story. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered.
In addition to my broader practice, I have a special passion for working with Arab Americans who may be struggling with identity, cultural expectations, or pressures around fitting in. As someone who understands the complexity of navigating multiple cultural worlds, I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they make sense of these experiences.
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology, where I’m also continuing my doctoral studies. As a Doctoral Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist in the state of Michigan, I receive ongoing supervision from Dr. Julie Meredith Davis and Dr. Shirlee Moore.
