Dennis Bell, MA, MLP

Pronouns: he/him/his

I have been working in the field since 2013. I understand that how we are and who we are today is the result of our history. How we feel, what we think, what we do: these are all guided by our unique lived experiences. As we go through each day, we are learning, and I believe that, as you pursue therapy, you will come out with a better understanding of yourself and your relationship with the rest of the world.

I earned my master’s in clinical psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. My training and education emphasize the importance of developmental, social, and relational considerations. I have experience working with adolescents and adults who are dealing with chronic pain, trauma, depression, anxiety, and addictions. I integrate a number of therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, client-centered, existential, trauma informed, mindfulness) because it is important to be flexible to meet clients where they are on their journey.

I am a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan, which allows me to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. As an MLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
