I have been working in the field since 2015. I recognize that individuals are influenced by contexts outside of themselves. As such, I strive to guide clients toward understanding that although they can’t control the world around them, they can have control over the way they manage and cope with stressors caused by external systems.
I earned a master’s in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University in 2015. My training and education emphasize the importance of developmental, social, and relational considerations. I have experience working with clients with ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I have also treated clients who have experienced trauma and identity or personality challenges. I work with teens, college students, adults, couples, and families from all socioeconomic statuses, including those experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness.
I am a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan, which allows me to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. As an MLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
