Creativity is central to how I view the world and therefore also at the heart of my approach to counseling. I enjoy incorporating experiential techniques centered around visual art and building metaphors. These practices encourage expression, foster communication, and prompt insights that can create both individual and relational healing. It is my intention to always facilitate a collaborative, safe, and affirming counseling experience.
My approach when working with couples, families and individuals is grounded in a family systems approach, the understanding that experiences and challenges are intertwined within the networks of family, culture, and community. My focus is on identifying dynamics, improving communication patterns, and fostering connection.
I am committed to supporting clients in exploring identity, including gender and sexual identity, within a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space. My practice is sex-positive and kink-affirming, with a focus on fostering openness and respect for diverse experiences. Life-stage transitions, such as becoming a parent, can also bring shifts in identity that we can explore together in therapy. I approach these conversations with curiosity, compassion, and an awareness of the relational and societal systems that shape each client’s journey.
I am currently serving as an intern at Meredith Psychological & Testing Services, working under the direct supervision of Dr. Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment, please call the main office at 269‐459‐1818.
