Meaningful change often begins when we feel safe enough to slow down, reflect, and look honestly at what we’re carrying. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by emotions, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or impacted by past experiences that continue to shape their present. My goal is to offer a supportive, grounded space where clients can explore their own real life experiences with curiosity, clarity, and compassion.
My background is in psychology and community mental health, and I have experience supporting both children and adults, including justice-involved youth and their families. My work focuses on helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns, while also developing practical tools to manage distress and navigate daily life more effectively. I often support clients in learning how to relate differently to difficult emotions, reduce the impact of unhelpful thinking patterns, and build healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others. I also value exploring how earlier relationships and life experiences continue to influence current struggles, especially when similar patterns seem to repeat.
I draw from several therapeutic approaches, allowing therapy to be tailored to each individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and supportive, and I view therapy as a collaborative process grounded in honesty, curiosity, and trust.
I am currently an intern at Meredith Psychological & Testing Services, LLC, under the supervision of Dr. Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment with me, please contact the main office at 269‐459‐1818.
