At the heart of a positive therapeutic interaction is the therapeutic relationship. I build trusting relationships with therapy clients through seeing them in their best moments, hardest moments, scariest moments, bravest moments, and all the other moments that we are talking to one another.
My primary interest is in working with neurodivergence and disordered eating in both children and adults. With a professional background in community mental health, I bring a person-centered approach and a “meet you where you are” attitude to the therapy session. I also prioritize evidence-based approaches and take an intersectional lens.
I love therapy because people are full of unique dreams, stories, experiences, fears, and hopes. I also believe that each one of us is capable of surprising ourselves with accomplish when we’re given the opportunity to heal and grow. On a personal note, I am a dog mom, an avid women’s basketball fan, and a habitual re-reader of. the Hunger Games series.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Gender Studies from Western Michigan University, and I am currently completing my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University.
I am currently an intern with Meredith Psychological & Testing Services, working under the direct supervision of Dr. Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment, please call the main office at 269‐459‐1818.
