Cole Coccodrilli, MA, DTLLP

Seeking therapy can be a vulnerable step, and I believe it is important that you feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout the process. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and affirming space where you can show up as your authentic self while working toward meaningful change. I view therapy as a collaboration and believe that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll build on your existing strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and deepen your understanding of yourself in ways that promote healing and growth.

I take an integrative, person-centered approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), motivational interviewing, and strengths-based interventions. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, values, and goals, meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.

My clinical experience includes working in college counseling, community mental health, and gender-affirming healthcare settings. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, perfectionism, identity development, and adjustment challenges. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse individuals and strive to provide an affirming space that acknowledges the impact of culture, marginalization, and systemic oppression on mental health while fostering resilience and self-compassion.

Whether you’re processing difficult experiences, exploring your identity, or simply feeling stuck, I hope to provide a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported. My goal is not only to help you navigate current challenges but also to help you develop the insight, confidence, and tools to continue thriving long after therapy ends.

I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Marywood University in 2023 and am currently enrolled in the Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program at Marywood University. I completed my Doctoral Internship at GVSU’s University Counseling Center in 2026.

I hold a Doctoral Temporary Educational Limited License (DTLLP) in the State of Michigan. As such, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
