I strive to create an open, supportive, and collaborative environment in therapy. Working primarily from a person-centered and interpersonal therapeutic approach, I come from a place of empathy, authenticity, and non-judgement.
It’s important to me to create a safe and honest relationship with my clients, which encourages growth and can translate to other relationships in their lives. I hope to be someone clients can share their stories with so that they never have to hold their pain alone.
I am passionate about race, sexual orientation, gender and other areas of identity, believing that they are central to the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to allow clients to be vulnerable with me in a safe and caring environment. I have professional experience working with children on the Autism spectrum between the ages of two and 17. I am interested in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, and relationship or familial difficulty.
I earned my master’s in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University in 2024. I am a Temporary Master’s Limited Psychologist (TMLP) in the state of Michigan. As a TMLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
