Jamie Decker, MA, MLP, CAADC

Pronouns: she/her/hers

“An empty lantern provides no light. Self-care is the fuel that allows your light to shine brightly.”

Therapy is for everyone. I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, engaging, and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I work with individuals including young adults, adults, LGBTQ+, minorities, and individuals in recovery or active addiction. My ten years of experience in the field includes walking alongside those coping with substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, suicidality, personality disorders, interpersonal difficulties, and addiction. I hope while working together collaboratively that you develop a promising sense of direction, awareness, and an improved sense of your strengths that will provide you with self-affirming skills to face any challenges you may have.

I earned my Master’s degree from West Michigan University. I am Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) in the state of Michigan with extensive experience working with individuals in active addiction and recovery in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

As an MLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment, please call the main office 269-459-1818. Please know that I am currently doing both in-person and telehealth therapy.
